Returns Policy

Stash Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Overview
At Stash, we stand by the quality of our products and aim to ensure every customer, whether reseller or end-user, is completely satisfied. If your product arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, we will make it right as quickly as possible.
This policy outlines your rights and our process for returns, replacements, and refunds in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) and the Fair Trading Act 1986.

2. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return or replacement if:

  • The product is faulty, damaged, or defective on arrival.

  • The product is incorrect (you received the wrong item or quantity).

  • The product fails to perform as advertised.

To be eligible:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging.

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of receipt.

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required.
     

3. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom or special-order products.

  • Consumables or software once opened or activated.

  • Products damaged due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modification.
     

4. Return Process
To initiate a return:

  1. Email info@stashdistribution.co.nz with your order number, description of the issue, and relevant photos (if applicable).

  2. Our team will review your request within 2 business days and issue a Return Authorisation (RA) number.

  3. Once approved, send the item to our return address (provided with your RA).

Please note:

  • Return shipping is covered by Stash for faulty or incorrect items.

  • For change-of-mind returns (if approved), shipping is at the customer’s cost.
     

5. Refunds and Replacements

  • Replacements will be shipped once the returned item is inspected and approved.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

  • Refunds will include the full purchase price and standard shipping fees (if applicable).
     

6. Warranty Claims
All Stash-supplied products are covered by a 3-year return-to-base (RTB) warranty unless otherwise specified.
If a product develops a fault during its warranty period:

  • Contact info@stashdistribution.co.nz with a detailed description of the issue.

  • We will assess and either repair, replace, or refund based on the fault and warranty terms.
